Return & Refund Policy
This Return Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling and refunds work for consultations purchased from Chargeplanet. Because we sell time-based services rather than physical goods, the rules below differ slightly from a typical e-commerce return policy. They are designed to be fair both to you and to the consultant who has reserved time for your session.
1. Your right of withdrawal
Under Finnish consumer protection law and the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract for services. By proceeding to book a session that takes place inside the 14-day window, you may expressly agree that the service can begin before the withdrawal period ends. In that case, the right of withdrawal expires once the service has been fully delivered.
2. Rescheduling
- You may reschedule your session free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed start time.
- Reschedule requests sent less than 24 hours before the session may only be accommodated if our calendar allows it.
- We may, exceptionally, need to reschedule a session from our side. In that case we offer you a new time at the earliest opportunity or a full refund.
3. Cancellations and refunds
- Cancellations received more than 7 days before the session: 100% refund.
- Cancellations received between 7 days and 24 hours before the session: 50% refund.
- Cancellations received less than 24 hours before the session, or no-shows: no refund, but you may move the session once within 30 days.
- For the Monthly Companion plan, you can cancel any future month at any time. Refunds for the current month are pro-rated based on whether the monthly session has already taken place.
4. How to request a refund or reschedule
To reschedule or cancel, simply write to us through the Contact page, mentioning your booking details (name, date and format). We confirm receipt within one business day and process refunds within 14 days of agreement, using the same payment method you originally used.
5. Service issues
If a session does not meet the standard described on our website — for example, if it is significantly shorter than agreed or if we fail to send the written plan within the stated time — please contact us within 14 days. We will work with you to fix the issue, which may include rescheduling part of the session or issuing a partial refund.
6. Disputes
If we cannot resolve a complaint between us, you are entitled to contact the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta) or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform. We commit to engaging constructively with any such process.
7. Updates to this policy
This Return Policy may be updated occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows the current version. The policy that applies to your booking is the version in force at the moment you completed the booking.
